In 2019, Victor became the first French golfer to earn a professional victory on the Old Course at St Andrews—the Home of Golf—when he won the prestigious Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. The tournament featured its strongest-ever field, including Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, Tommy Fleetwood, Tony Finau, Justin Rose, Shane Lowry, and several other Major Champions.
Victor, who now lives in nearby Dundee, Scotland, validated his historic win with an impressive run of form, recording three runner-up finishes in Rolex Series events, including the European Tour’s flagship tournament, the 2020 BMW PGA Championship. He also finished inside the top 25 in his Major Championship debut at the 2020 PGA Championship at Harding Park.
Born and raised in Tarbes, in the south of France, Victor has collected victories in each of his first four professional seasons following a standout amateur career. He played collegiate golf at the highly ranked University of New Mexico and finished second to Jon Rahm at The Amateur Championship.
In 2024 and 2025, Victor competed full-time on the PGA Tour, finishing 70th and 109th in the FedEx Cup standings, respectively. Building on his global experience across tours, Victor will join LIV Golf for the 2026 season, where he will compete as a member of Cleeks Golf Club.
